GPS Converter will convert GPS coordinates between three different formats: 34.26965, -116.76783; N 34 16.179', W 116 46.07'; and N 34 16' 10.74', W 116 46' 4.2'. Will map the results in Google Maps. Coordinates may be saved for future retrieval. This program was primarily written to assist me when I go hiking. I would get a call from a relative asking where I was and I would read them the coordinates from my GPS. Without having to make them savvy in GPS translations, they can simply plug in the coordinates I give them and map out where I am. It also helps that I can call them, give them coordinates, and they can tell me where I am! (Not that I would ever get lost on the trail......)
